Eden is located in Downtown Los Angeles at 937 E Pico Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90021

There’s plenty of metered parking all around the studio. 2 hour metered parking is available on Pico, and 10 hour metered parking on Paloma. Parking is free after 6 pm.

There is also a lot right next to the building where parking is $5 for the whole day. Be mindful as the lot closes at 5 pm. We are not responsible for any cars stuck in the lot overnight. 

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your class begins as we have a 5 minute policy. Students who arrive more than 5 minutes after class start time may not be allowed entry.

Eden is also an intimate studio and does not have a front desk, lobby, or dedicated waiting area. If possible, please avoid arriving more than 10 minutes early. The studio may also be in use for another class or private rental before yours.

Detailed building entry instructions are included in your booking and arrival confirmation email. Please review them thoroughly before heading to the studio and follow the instructions provided to enter the building.

You must opt in to emails to receive full booking information. Otherwise, you will not receive important information such as how to locate the studio, where to park, if your class gets canceled, etc.

All guests must remove shoes upon entry as we do not allow street shoes on our floors. No food or gum is allowed in the studio. Remove all rings before touching the poles. Clean all equipment after use (yoga mats, poles, and crash mats). Do not use sharp objects to try to remove grip from poles. Please return items where you found them. No touching or leaning on mirrors. Do not leave trash inside the studio.

Be respectful of the space and towards all students. Be mindful of our neighbors and do not play music excessively loud when renting the studio. Make sure to disconnect from speakers/bluetooth before leaving the studio.

Yes! We love seeing you document your progress. Photos and videos of yourself are welcome, but please be mindful of the privacy of others in the studio. Avoid filming other students without their permission, and be aware of who may be visible in the background of your content.

We typically reserve time toward the end of class for photos and videos. When setting up your phone or tripod, please make sure it does not block walkways, poles, or otherwise interfere with other dancers’ space. Please follow any additional filming guidelines given by your instructor.

Yes! We don’t play music by artists known for abuse, seriously harmful behavior, or rhetoric targeting LGBTQ+ people and other marginalized communities. This applies to instructor playlists, song requests during class, and music played during Open Pole.

Our goal is to keep Eden a space where people can dance and feel comfortable in their bodies without unexpectedly having to move to music connected to someone whose actions make that difficult.

Welcome! If you’ve never touched a pole before, we recommend starting with our Intro to Pole class. No previous pole, dance, or fitness experience is required.

After getting comfortable with the basics, you can transition to our other beginner-friendly classes such as Beginner Tricks, Beginner Spin, and Sensual Flow. Make sure to read full class descriptions for any requirements.

For most classes, unless stated otherwise in class descriptions, students will need to wear skin baring clothing such as shorts, bikinis, crop tops, tank tops, etc. in order to safely grip onto the pole. Students should also bring water, and can bring grip aids.

We provide alcohol spray bottles, cleaning towels, and yoga mats, though students are welcome to bring their own mats. Read full class descriptions for shoe attire as some classes may require $tripper heels or socks.

Students must cancel at least 12 hours ahead of class start time. Students who cancel outside of this window that have class packs or single drop in purchases will forfeit the class credit. Students with monthly memberships will be charged a $15 late cancel fee, or a $20 no show fee.

For morning classes and classes that start at 12 pm, if less than two people are signed up, the class will be canceled by 10:00 pm the night before.

For late afternoon and evening classes, if less than 2 people are signed up, the class will be canceled 4 hours ahead of class start time.

We recommend booking as early as you can. Signing up early helps ensure your class has enough enrollment to run and helps us avoid unnecessary cancellations.

Our cancellation windows are designed to give both our students and instructors adequate notice. We know many members of our community commute from different parts of LA, and we want to be respecftul of everyone’s time and travel plans. For this reason, we’re unable to wait until an hour or two before class to determine whether it will run.

Studio Eden is a small, independently operated studio without a front desk or receptionist. The studio is run by its sole owner, who manages all administrative and day-to-day operations in addition to teaching, so we aren’t always able to answer the phone in real time.

We do not allow walk-ins. It is best to book ahead of time to ensure there is enough space in class, and so you receive full booking and arrival details.

Yes, students must be at least 18 years old to participate. 

Yes, waitlist spots open 2 hours before class if someone cancels their reservation.

Unused credits do not rollover. However, we know life happens, so we offer a one-time grace rollover if you let us know in advance (for things like travel or illness). After that, any unused classes will expire at the end of your billing cycle.

Wearing $tripper heels is encouraged and in some classes required, however, beginners are highly encouraged to take class barefoot until they feel confident enough to start dancing in heels, if they choose to do so. 

Yes, we do offer rentals for private practice, workshops, and photography/videography with different pricing options for each. Up to 4 guests total are permitted for private practice rentals. Additional guests are $15 per person. Up to 11 guests are permitted for workshops.

Studio Eden is proudly sex worker owned and sex worker centered, but you do not need to be a sex worker to take classes here. Everyone is welcome at Eden as long as they enter our space with respect for our community, our instructors, and the origins and culture of pole.
